This tagline describes Christina’s view of life beautifully. Many years ago, Christina was told, “You’ve gone through more in the last 7 years than most people try to avoid their entire lifetime.” Stage 3 Breast Cancer survivor at age 24. Mother at age 30. Widow at age 31.

Christina Martinez moved to Colorado in 2001 from Niagara Falls, NY. At a young age, she knew she didn’t want to stay in Niagara Falls, and since the weather in Buffalo wasn’t any better, it only made sense to move west: less humidity, more sunshine. While in NY, she earned her BS in Mathematics at Buffalo State College and her Ed.M. in Secondary Math Education at SUNY Buffalo. After a short stint in education, she left her teaching career to expand a small business in the financial services industry that she had started just a few years prior. With the world of pop quizzes, grading papers, and standardized testing behind her, she journeyed along the path of a 'business owner.'

Christina celebrates over 20 years as a Financial Professional and has experience in tax-efficient savings, life insurance strategies, retirement planning, and wealth transfer. She now shares her journey from teacher turned business owner, using humor and sarcasm in hopes of inspiring, providing insight, and offering tangible financial solutions to those also on the journey of life and business.

Remarried in 2009, Christina lives to spend time with

her husband and business partner Dedric, their daughter Zoe, who is now a freshman at Creighton University, and their blue-nosed pit bull named Navy. She has a deep love for 80’s music, traveling, working out at the gym, golfing, cooking, and volunteering in her community and church.
